Our Love Food Hate Waste Lunch Club

In March this year we got together with Food Cardiff , supported by Love Food Hate Waste to run a project that would start to tackle the huge issue of family food waste in Cardiff. Our expert team, including Lia’s Kitchen and the Pedal Emporium visited four primary schools during the Easter holidays and delivered an exciting programme of interactive activities and games for families from those schools.

The families were taken through a fun carousel of activities throughout the day including cooking a variety of dishes from food they might usually waste, designing and making their own pedal powered smoothies and learning all about the grub gremlins that lurk in our kitchen and try to attack our food.
