Whether you’re an expert knitter or a total beginner, spinning your own yarn from scratch is very satisfying and gives you complete control over the creative process.
In this unique workshop Jane, our very own shepherdess will take you through the fascinating journey of wool from field to fibre. You’ll learn to choose, clean and prepare fleece, spin by hand and ply your wool. You’ll also have an opportunity to try out traditional spinning wheels. You’ll leave with a skein of your own yarn and a drop spindle so you can put your new skills into practice straight away.
