If you’re interested in beekeeping but not sure what’s involved or how to get started then this workshop is for you!
Packed with tips on making your first steps as a beekeeper as easy and enjoyable as possible, we’ll explore life inside the hive, choosing your hive and protective gear, jobs and challenges through the seasons and how to get help, support and training. You’ll be able to try on a bee suit and carry out a 100% safe practice inspection on our training hive. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and handle beekeeping kit.
We strive to keep our ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops can be accessible to all. We are able to offer a limited amount of free tickets to those on low incomes so please get in touch if you wish to attend a workshop but feel that the cost is prohibitive.
